Ynx - The Sphinx Cat
What started as a legend became true after scholars discovered the existence of a breed of hairless cats. Nobody knows why they have no hair, although some believe they might be the creation of some mad alchemist. Be that as it may, the ynx are extraordinarily playful and love to be around people. However, they avoid sunlight because they have no coat to protect them and are not considered suitable for adventures under the sun.
Nonetheless, they are bright and childishly playful, picking up any shiny object and interacting with it until its curiosity is fulfilled or something shinier shows up. This breed is very popular with rich families or lonely spellcasters who wish to keep interaction with other beings to a minimum. One odd characteristic of this type of cat is that they will always try to be at their companion's side unlike others of their kind.
Amongst companions, the ynx have an ability that makes them stand out; apparently, they bring good luck to their humanoid companions.
