Tai - The Tiger
Vigorous, athletic, and brutal, tai are natural predators meant to dominate areas in the wild. However, history has shown many successful examples of companionships with these cats, especially with hunters, barbarians, and druids. Maintaining the bond is difficult, for the tai demands a lot of food, avoids urban areas, and needs to hunt and kill constantly; such are its instincts. Most of the bonds do not last more than six months, but if managed, it may last until one of the companions dies. The tai's coat is orange, white, and with black stripes, perfect camouflage for the areas it inhabits. Along with the izzy, it is one of the strongest companions and one of the most difficult to befriend and keep. It is not recommended for rookies. Out of all the people of Eluan, with the exception of the inhabitants of the White Archipelago, and the Saffron Hills, humans are the most inclined to forming companionships with tai.
There's a guild whose secret base lies somewhere in The Wilderness. They are known as the Sisters of Kiros. It is an all-female member guild of hunters of the highest level where all members have a tai companion. Unlike in other cases, these bonds last until one of them dies. How the guild has accomplished this is a closely guarded secret, which many nobles would pay a plump sum to discover.
