Blind in daylight, the sloo is a natural climber that uses its keen sense of smell to move about in trees and other environments. The sloo is sought after because of its metabolism.
It eats very little and digests slowly, but when it finally discharges, depending on what it eats, the result can be used as components for magic, which is why spellcasters have them as companions. However, this also means that they cannot raise their body temperature, so they hate the cold and can perish easily there.
