Sheppar - The Old English Shepherd
Grey of color, and quite furry; the sheppar are the perfect companion for farmers and anyone who needs help with their other animals. The sheppar tend to be fat, but with strong muscles, and very dedicated to their jobs. These dogs are very popular with the peoples of Eluan who need assistance in controlling their farm animals. They have a long and thick coat, gray in color, although usually covered in mud because of all the time they spend on the field guiding the animals.
In folklore, the sheppar are believed to be a link between creatures and deities, the latter giving them the skill to guide and command the smaller animals that need help. There are even accounts of rangers having witnessed wild sheppar herding creatures of the forest, gathering them in a group, and then venturing deeper into the woods only to disappear without a trace.
