Brandishing a greatsword is not something that just anyone can do. Being one of the largest sword in existence, it requires immense strength to wield. And there was once a sword, a unique sword, to the point of having a name and fame: the Kardjasverd.Kardjasverd belonged to an orc warrior, a monstrous creature, who had killed hundreds of men in battle. It is said that this warrior received Kardjasverd from the orc god Drenosh himself. An ancient king, from a realm not yet freed from the worship of the gods by the Guild, decided to fight the orc warrior with his army. Many died, but the orc was defeated. The king then decided to obtain the sword Kardjasverd for himself as a spoil of battle. But he didn't just want to possess it. He wanted to wield it and manipulate it. But the sword was too big and too heavy for human arms to lift. Three men were needed just to get it off the ground.Seeking to gain the strength to wield Kardjasverd, the king made a terrible pact with the gods. He took to wielding it and using it in battle, but that pact came at a price. After his death, the king was recruited by divine forces, condemned to be a walking corpse, and after his death, demoted to a soldier; a soldier of the dead, a henchman of the gods, doomed to serve them in their evil designs.
