Danees - The Great Dane
The largest of dogs, the danees, were initially used for hunting, but their noble nature soon made them fit for houses and playing with children. Some are still used for hunting. Their short coats can be black, blue, fawn, or harlequin. But dont let their size fool you; they are gentle giants who believe they are still puppies.
The danees have a connection to the undead, making them ideal guardians against the creatures that go bump in the night, although the reason behind this remains a mystery. There are many hunters of the undead or cleric orders that adopt this breed of dogs.
